Resident Site Engineer

The Europlan Group is seeking an experienced Resident Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our Subsea Cable Factory Project. You will oversee the construction and maintenance of civil, mechanical, or electrical infrastructure and structural elements, and work closely with our clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality results.
About the Role:
- This is a senior role that requires a strong background in site supervision and project management.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- You will conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to verify the quality and integrity of construction work.
- You will maintain accurate records of construction activities and communicate project status updates to stakeholders and management.
- You will provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams and facilitate the resolution of construction challenges.
Key Skills:
A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the specific engineering discipline. A Professional Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is preferred. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks effectively. The salary for this position is approximately £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
