Astute People's Renewables team is partnering with one of the world's largest wind turbine manufacturers to recruit a talented Electrical/Mechanical Engineer - Site Lead for its North Inverness and Kilbraur site.

About the Position

This exciting role comes with a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, plus bonus and pension scheme, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.

You will be working closely with the Technical Back Office to analyse and resolve technical issues, conducting planned maintenance, inspections, and complex repairs, and ensuring HSE standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating daily maintenance and repair activities on site.
  • Analysing and resolving technical issues with support from the Technical Back Office.
  • Leading site inductions and Toolbox talks.
  • Completing and submitting timely reports.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with team leadership experience.
  • Basic HSE knowledge and ability to develop skill set in this area.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
