About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced administrative professional to provide senior secretarial support to the Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Senior Leadership and Management Team within the Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level secretarial services to the Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Senior Leadership and Management Team and other members of the department.
  • Communicate with organisations and individuals from outside of the Health Board.
  • First point of contact for the Central Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Senior Leadership and Management Team by telephone, e-mail, and correspondence or for visitors.
  • Provide advice on a wide range of service matters related to the department, resolving them or referring them to the most appropriate person during periods when they are absent from the office.
  • Deal with confidential and sensitive documents/issues, maintaining the strictest confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Diploma in Office Administration/Typewriting/Word Processing or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Secretarial Procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of WP, spreadsheet and presentation packages.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Stage 3 in equivalent in Administration.
  • IT Related Qualification.
