Urban Transportation Project Manager

Company Overview: Matchtech is a leading provider of specialist recruitment services, connecting clients with exceptional talent in the engineering and technical sectors.
Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Manage and deliver complex construction projects in constrained urban environments as part of a design team or independently.
- Surveying and Investigations: Conduct initial, interim, and final surveys and investigations to inform project planning and execution.
- Design and Documentation: Complete designs, calculations, specifications, plans, drawings, estimates, reports, and bills of quantities using Computer Aided Design and other specialist software.
- Site Management: Perform site visits to ensure the contractor is working in accordance with the specification and programme, ensuring safety on the construction site and reporting any concerns.
- Contract Administration: Prepare, issue, update, and close statutory and other notices in accordance with legal requirements.
- Liaison and Coordination: Liaise with statutory undertakers and other departments to manage conflicts and coordinate delivery.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in highway engineering within the HTP sector.
- Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Computer Aided Design and other specialist software; strong project management skills with the ability to deliver projects within time and budget; understanding of CDM regulations and Principal Designer responsibilities.
- Personal Qualities: Robust problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail; excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
