About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Protection Officer to join our team at Southeastern. As a key member of our Passenger Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our trains and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspecting passengers' tickets and collecting fares from those who haven't paid
  • Interviewing suspected fare evaders and processing related paperwork
  • Working on our gatelines (or ticket barriers) to help station colleagues carry out ticket checks

What You'll Need

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working directly with customers, ideally where you've had to deal with conflicts or confrontation
  • Experience taking payments and handling cash
  • Good decision-making and calmness under pressure
  • The ability to be resilient, assertive and remain professional in all situations
