**About the Role**

NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled Cancer Prehabilitation Practitioner to join our team in Glasgow. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with patients before, during, and after cancer treatment to enhance their quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and nutritional needs.
  • Work with experts to develop and deliver individualized prehabilitation plans in collaboration with the wider healthcare team.
  • Implement exercise, nutrition, and psychosocial support interventions.
  • Educate patients and families about the benefits of prehabilitation and self-management strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to plans.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in cancer prehabilitation.
