Cancer Care Improvement Specialist
NHS Western Isles has received funding from Macmillan to focus on service improvements around the Nutrition Pathway in Cancer. We are seeking an experienced specialist to work on service scoping, pathway development, training, and quality improvement work.
Salary: £41,659 (average) per annum, plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,349.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to make a real difference to the nutritional care of patients at all stages of their cancer journey.
About the role:
- Work with multidisciplinary health care teams and third sector organisations
- Develop and implement a comprehensive nutrition pathway
- Improve services and patient experiences across the Western Isles
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian, Nurse or AHP with a passion for service and quality improvement in cancer care
- Good knowledge and interest in nutrition
