Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary school in Kings Lynn. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting with their educational and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment, promoting independence and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEN.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
