SEN Teaching Specialist

**Role Overview:**
Step Teachers are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Secondary school in Kings Lynn. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to make a difference in the lives of students with complex needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, assisting with their educational and personal development.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Foster a supportive learning environment, promoting independence and confidence.
- Work with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEN.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) are desirable but not essential.
