Maths Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maths Teacher to join our team at a special school in Wisbech. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching 8–13-year-olds and a passion for SEN/SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the delivery and development of the curriculum, considering the educational, physical, and social needs of students.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain and use short-, medium-, and long-term plans to deliver the curriculum.
  • Set, monitor, and review personalized targets to optimize learning for each student.
  • Monitor, assess, review, and report on student progress to parents, team members, senior staff, examination, and funding bodies.
  • Maintain knowledge through training and research, taking responsibility for own professional development.
  • Develop lesson plans, analyzing and self-reflecting on outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Ideal: QTS or QTLS, but we will consider candidates with Level 4/5 teaching qualifications.
  • Experience teaching SEN students.
  • Passion for SEN/SEMH.
