Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and clinical support to patients, working under the guidance of a registered healthcare professional.
  • Develop and maintain competencies in clinical procedures, including venepuncture, cannulation, and ECG recording.
  • Work as part of a designated clinical and care team, prioritizing workload and developing positive relationships with patients, families, and carers.
  • Assist with health promotion activities, including reducing obesity and smoking cessation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring smooth running of the team and effective communication with colleagues.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
  • Effective level of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate compassion, empathy, and help others.
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work as part of a team.
