Event Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Venue Manager at Outernet Venue. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Open and close the venue on designated shifts, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests and staff.
• Assist in the event planning process, adhering to licensing stipulations and house policies and procedures.
• Maintain close and professional relationships with programming teams, event promoters, production, and all their contractual entitlements.
• Inspire and train your team to help them achieve their development goals.
• Assist the DGM and BDM in the control of operating costs and budgeting.
• Maintain close working relationships with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring appropriate licensing administration.
• Complete event and dynamic risk assessments to ensure appropriate and relevant security protocol, and day-to-day running of the venue.
• Admin duties including but not limited to, rota building and staff scheduling, nightly settlements, stock control, and reporting.
• Open and close the cocktail bar on designated shifts, deputizing for the Cocktail Manager where necessary.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in event and/or club management, with a good understanding of POS systems, licensing, health & safety, staff scheduling, and training. A passion for music and nightlife, and a commitment to delivering memorable experiences for our guests, artists, and clients is essential.
