SEN Classroom Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Classroom Specialist to join our team in Leatherhead, Surrey. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and empowering our students with SEN, providing personalized support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful candidate will have a patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students. They will also have a genuine passion for education and a dedication to promoting every child's well-being and academic success.
Job Overview:
This is a long-term position that involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) while providing valuable support within the classroom. The salary for this position is estimated at GBP85.00 - GBP90.00 per day.
Responsibilities:
- Support the inclusion and integration of SEN pupils within mainstream classroom settings, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress and development.
- Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desired but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
- A patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students.
