Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our team in Surrey schools. As a key member of the support staff, you will provide one-on-one and group support to students with ASC/SEMH, assist with classroom activities, and help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). You will also collaborate with teachers and therapists to support student development.

The ideal candidate has experience working with children who have additional learning needs/challenging behaviour, holds a valid DBS on the update service, and is passionate and driven to work with children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to students with ASC/SEMH
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement IEPs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN or challenging behaviours
  • Valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
  • Passion and drive to work with children
