We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury. This is a unique opportunity to work in a small, close-knit team at Lambeth Palace, the London home of the Archbishop.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Chaplain, including managing their diary, correspondence, and expenses. They will also be responsible for organizing the Chaplain's official engagements and providing hospitality to visitors.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong understanding of the Church of England's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Chaplain, including managing their diary, correspondence, and expenses.
- Organize the Chaplain's official engagements, including travel arrangements and hospitality.
- Manage the Chaplain's correspondence, including drafting replies to letters and emails.
- Provide support to the Chaplain in their pastoral and liturgical duties.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of the Church of England's mission and values.
- Basic DBS check required.
