The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal finance, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar role within a law firm is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:- Process client and office account transactions, including receipts, payments, and transfers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with SRA Accounts Rules.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other financial reports as required.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Collaborate with fee earners and support staff to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Handle queries related to financial transactions and provide support to the finance team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Estimated salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Benefits: A supportive work culture, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a pension scheme.
