Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to support our Accounts Payable team in Plymouth.

Job Description:
  • Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to ensure account accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Handle purchase ledger queries from suppliers and internal teams effectively.
  • Support month-end processes, including report preparation and ledger reconciliations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
Competitive Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000, depending on experience.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in accounts payable and knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to process improvement.
