About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Part-time Events Coordinator to support our visitor economy, street trading operation, and major public events programme. Located in Plymouth City Council offices, this role involves assisting with enquiries from various stakeholders, processing paperwork, and dealing with financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Support the street trading team with licensing and administrative tasks
  • Process financial transactions and manage documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
Requirements
  • Competent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
  • Technical, administrative, or financial qualification and/or relevant experience
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Able to work accurately and prioritize tasks

  • Competitive salary (Grade E): £22,444 - £24,495 per annum
