Clinical Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Veterinary Nurse to join our team at a busy, friendly clinic with a great client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring seamless clinical care delivery.

This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week on a 4-day week, with 1 in 3 Saturdays. Your average day will include a variety of nursing, surgical, and administrative duties as well as assisting with clinical coaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage the daily operations of the nursing department
  • Ensure effective communication between team members and other departments
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of patient care
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in veterinary nursing, preferably in a leadership position
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Proven ability to coach and develop junior staff members
