Clinical Development Scientist

Job Description

  • Assist in the development of medical devices for drug delivery, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct design verification, shelf life studies, shipping studies, and manufacturing process qualification for drug delivery devices.
  • Support regulatory submissions, internal and external audits, and method development and validation principles.
  • Analyse data to quantify functional performance characteristics and define approaches to quantify design parameters.

Requirements

  • Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant Science or bioengineering subject.
  • Good theoretical knowledge and understanding of academic subjects.
  • Previous experience of working with device design control systems and drug delivery device testing.
  • Experience of test method development and validation.

Salary

Negotiable salary range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
