As a key member of the Hanwha Vision Europe team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join our organization. This role will be responsible for managing existing and new partners, A&E contacts, and end-user interactions within the North UK regions assigned by the UK&I Country VP.
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining relationships with existing key clients, including visiting customers, A&E customers, and end-users to identify opportunities to upsell and increase sales.
- Identifying business opportunities amongst current customers and developing strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Creating business proposals and offers for both new and existing customers, and working closely with customers to grow and close projects.
- Developing and maintaining sales reports, including new and existing projects, and working closely with customers to achieve set objectives.
- Working closely with the Marketing team to entice existing customers and encourage new customers, by organizing activities and events that inform and inspire them to work with Hanwha Vision Europe as their preferred partner of choice.
- Attending UK&I trade shows and events to promote Hanwha Vision Europe's products and services.
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Country VP (UK&I).
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Security industry.
- Strong knowledge of the market, main channels, and potential customers.
- Experience selling to Distributors and System Integrators in the region.
- A proven sales and achievement record.
- Understanding of new technologies.
- Business or Technical Degree Level Education (desirable).
- Intermediate and Advanced 'Microsoft Office' skills to include Excel.
- Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with both internal Company Directors/colleagues and key clients.
- Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and good clear judgement.
- Ability to demonstrate motivation of multidisciplinary teams to achieve targets.
- Logical and well-organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Displays a pro-active approach and is a 'solution finder'.
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
- Ability to communicate on all levels in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Process-oriented.
- Clean Driving License.
- English language essential.
