Job Summary:

Austin Fraser seeks a Configurations and Testing Technician to assemble, configure, and test PCs, laptops, and tablets. This role requires knowledge of computer hardware and software, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure and assemble desktops, laptops, and tablets according to specifications.
  2. Perform thorough testing and fault finding on configured devices.
  3. Asset tag and record customer-specific data for accurate tracking.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily targets and provide assistance when needed.
  6. Develop and deliver training sessions to ensure quality control.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in PC assembly, configuration, and testing.
  2. Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows and mobile Operating Systems.
  3. Familiarity with asset management and tracking systems.
  4. Microsoft 70-697 Configuring Windows 10 certification.
  5. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
