Dementia Support Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional care and support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care, supporting residents with their daily living needs, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management. You will also have the chance to engage with residents, build meaningful relationships, and help create a warm and welcoming environment for all.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a caring and empathetic approach, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional care and support to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care.
• Support residents with their daily living needs, including bathing, dressing, and medication management.
• Engage with residents, build meaningful relationships, and create a warm and welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
Salary: £22,500 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
