Assistant Branch Manager

At SIG plc, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities
  • Proactively engage in internal and external sales calls to maximize sales potential
  • Operate the trade counter, providing expert advice and support to customers
  • Take full responsibility for the branch in the manager's absence, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
  • Implement and maintain a Zero Harm Health and Safety policy
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the trade/construction industry and products/services offered by SIG
  • Previous experience in sales, operations, administration, and stock control
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong telephone manner
  • Methodical approach, attention to detail, and IT literacy
  • Self-motivation and ability to adapt to change
