Children and Young People Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children and Young People Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our CYPMHS team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective treatment plans for children and young people.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including CBT, DBT, and systemic therapy, to support the mental health and well-being of our clients.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families, providing emotional support and guidance throughout the treatment process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and clinical guidelines in CYPMHS, applying this knowledge to inform your practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Registered with a recognized professional body, such as the HCPC or NMC.
- Significant post-qualification experience in CYPMHS or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of child protection legislation and working practices, as well as experience of inter-agency working.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands.
