Mental Health Practitioner

Grosvenor Hart Homes is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our front-line multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health assessments and support to children, young people, and families who are tenants or applicants of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of our tenants and develop personalized support plans.
  • Provide timely and effective interventions to prevent escalation of mental health conditions and promote overall wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with our Family Assistant Service to ensure seamless support and coordination of services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local primary care providers and community wellbeing services.
  • Commission and quality assure mental health and wellbeing support services from high-quality providers.
  • Provide clinical supervision to other GHH service areas and contribute to the development of our mental health and wellbeing strategy.
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (minimum Band 7, maximum Band 8a)
  • Qualified and regulated to complete assessments for ADHD/ASD
  • Experience of working with a wide range of mental health conditions
  • Recent experience of working in a clinical setting, preferably delivering Children and Young People's Mental Health services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build trusted relationships and develop compassionate, empathetic, and supportive relationships with tenants
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Please note that this role requires occasional travel within the northwest of England and London, and a full driver's license and access to a car would be desirable. An enhanced DBS check will also be required.
