In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care and support to adults with complex mental health needs. You will work within a recovery-focused framework, utilizing evidence-based interventions to empower individuals on their journey towards well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand individual service user needs and develop tailored care plans.
  • Deliver specialized psychosocial interventions (PSI) that promote recovery and enhance mental health outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with commissioners, care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate records of service user information and progress, adhering to relevant legal frameworks and ethical guidelines.
Essential Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience working with adults experiencing complex mental health challenges.
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience within a recovery-focused philosophy framework.
  • Expertise in delivering individual service user-focused specialist assessments and developing specialized care packages.
  • A strong understanding of evidence-based interventions that promote recovery and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Requirements:

The following qualifications and experiences would be advantageous:

  • Knowledge of legal frameworks such as the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
  • Experience in conducting surveys, audits, or research activities related to mental health care.
  • Expertise in complex care management and developing bespoke support packages.
