Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our Crisis Triage and Response Team in Chester.

The successful candidate will work across Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Services, including Crisis Triage and Response Service, Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, and Liaison and Diversion Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist mental health support and interventions to individuals in crisis
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective care and treatment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of crisis care pathways and protocols
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification in mental health (RMN, AHP, Psychology, Social care)
  • Evidence of further professional development involving serious mental illness
  • Non-medical Prescribing certificate
Person Specification
  • Specialist knowledge and experience of crisis and urgent care pathways within working age and older adults
  • An understanding of the Mental Health Act / Mental Health Capacity Act & DOLS requirements
  • Awareness of community structures and social care options and processes
  • Understanding of least restrictive practice
