Academics Ltd is seeking a mental health assistant to join its team at a primary school in Wokingham. The ideal candidate will be either a psychology graduate or have relevant experience working with children who have ASD, ADHD, and SEN.

The role involves supporting two pupils: one with SEMH and another with ASD and ADHD. As a mental health assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to develop strategies for addressing these pupils' individual needs. This includes supporting their behaviour for learning and helping them understand teacher instructions.

This is a full-time opportunity with a salary of £80-90 per day. The successful candidate will be a team player who can work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop structures that benefit students. You will also be responsible for tracking and recording pupil progress.

Job Requirements:
  • Pupil Support: Assist pupils with their behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
  • Progress Tracking: Keep track of pupil progress and record it accordingly.
