Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker/Approved Mental Health Professional to join our Integrated Mental Health Service on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Holding a mental health caseload and providing care and services for individuals with severe and/or enduring mental health difficulties.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans and risk management strategies.
  • Providing supervision and guidance to team members in accordance with the CMHT Joint Supervision Policy.
  • Identifying and addressing safeguarding concerns, including adult and child protection.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
  • Participating in reviewing functions for individuals with long-term stable placements.
  • Ensuring compliance with service requirements for lone working in the community.
  • Holding an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification.
  • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, including Safeguarding, MHA, MCA, CA, and Human Rights.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in social work or a related field.
  • An Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification.
  • Significant experience in a senior social worker or AMHP role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, including Safeguarding, MHA, MCA, CA, and Human Rights.
