We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Acute Medical team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. Main Duties and Responsibilities- Autonomously assess, investigate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated healthcare problems.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and any relevant diagnostic results.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior clinicians, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives to drive service development and improvement.
- Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
- Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.
- Extensive post-registration experience (normally 5 years) in Acute Medicine.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in service development and implementation.
- Clear and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective listening skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and professional growth.
