About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Acute Medical team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, safe, and effective care to patients presenting with undifferentiated healthcare problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, investigate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with complex healthcare needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior clinicians and nursing staff.
  • Participate in audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with best clinical practice and maintain a high level of expertise in acute medicine.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
  • Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.
  • Extensive post-registration experience in acute medicine, preferably as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
