Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to work as a Teaching Assistant in a lovely primary school with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to a Year 1 pupil, assisting with their academic, emotional, and social development.
About the Role:- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 1 pupil, assisting with learning, behaviour, and emotional development.
- Support classroom activities and work with small groups as needed.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans.
- Encourage positive behaviour and foster the pupil's confidence and independence.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting, and possess a patient, empathetic approach with the ability to build strong relationships with children. A passion for supporting children's development and helping them reach their full potential is essential.
As a supportive education professional, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on a child's educational journey. The role offers a competitive salary of approximately £18,000 - £22,000 per year, depending on experience, and the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position directly with the school following a successful probation period.
