Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic Facilities Management company, Carbon60, at one of their prestigious clients' sites in Barrow in Furness. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the bid and resource coordination process.

About the Job

In this esteemed position, you will be responsible for managing the bid and resource coordination process, involving both direct and indirect staff management. Your duties will also include preparing proposal submissions, obtaining specialist subcontractor costs, and formulating bids based on briefs from senior management.

You will work closely with clients to provide meaningful reports and interact with client organisations as required. A key aspect of this role is identifying cost-saving initiatives that align with contractual obligations. You will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

To excel in this position, you should have a strong educational background, preferably up to HNC/HND standard, and relevant qualifications in quantity surveying. Experience working within a QS capacity and estimating within the FM industry are essential requirements. Proficiency in IT skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is necessary. Additionally, the ability to obtain SC Clearance is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach, are highly valued in this role.
