Job Title: Bid Manager - Facilities Management
About the Company: Carbon 60, a dynamic National Facilities Management company, is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join its team. With significant growth across various client contracts in the North West, we offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our first-rate facilities management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the bid process, ensuring timely and effective project execution.
- Develop and prepare proposal submissions, providing innovative solutions and appraising new methods of FM service delivery.
- Drive improvements in communications, management procedures, and systems to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Utilize the BMF Estimating package/system to verify bid validity.
- Source specialist subcontractor costs and create bids based on BDM briefs where necessary.
- Maintain labour load asset information and participate in site visits during the bid process.
- Pursue submitted tenders and assist in developing tender returns.
Requirements:
- HNC/HND education or equivalent with strong management experience.
- Quantity surveying qualification (degree level preferred) and experience in a QS capacity.
- Estimating expertise within the FM industry and familiarity with SFG20 environments.
- Excellent IT skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- SC Clearance and a full UK driving licence.
Estimated Salary: Up to £60,000 annually.
Work Environment: Barrow in Furness/North West - Travel involved.
Working Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
