Job Overview

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Estimator - Facilities Management to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a National Facilities Management company experiencing significant growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the bid and resource co-ordination process, providing information and preparing proposal submissions for new methods of FM Service delivery.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is up to £60,000 per annum, plus car allowance and excellent benefits package, including:

Key Responsibilities

  1. Managing the bid and resource co-ordination process involving both direct and indirect staff management.
  2. Providing information and preparing proposal submissions for new methods of FM Service delivery.
  3. Identifying valid and viable commercial delivery options through solution and option appraisal.
  4. Using the BMF Estimating package/system to verify validity of bids.
  5. Obtaining specialist subcontractor costs.
  6. Formulating bids based on BDM briefs where required.
  7. Labour loading of asset information.
  8. Attending site visits across the UK as part of the bid process.
  9. Attending Divisional Bid Meetings.
  10. Progressing submitted tenders and assisting in formulation of tender returns.

Requirements

  • Educated to HNC/HND Standard or equivalent.
  • Excellent management experience.
  • Relevant qualification in quantity surveying (degree level preferable).
  • Experience working within a QS capacity.
  • Relevant experience of estimating within the FM Industry.
  • Experience of working in an SFG20 environment is desirable.
  • Proficient IT Skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and EXCEL.
  • Ability to obtain SC Clearance.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
