About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Support Specialist in a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school in Barnet. As a Psychology Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to students, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCo departments, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student mental health and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development of student emotional understanding and self-regulation skills.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
About You

We are looking for a Psychology Graduate with a passion for working with children and young people. You will have a positive and proactive approach, with a strong commitment to supporting students with SEND. While a First-Class Degree from a top UK university is desirable, we will consider applications from graduates with a 2:2 or higher from a reputable institution. If you have relevant child-centered experience, especially in SEND, that is a significant advantage.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring psychologists and individuals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of children. As a Psychology Graduate Support Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality support to students with SEND.
