**Join Our Team as an Adult Community Specialist**

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Community Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with the MDT
  • Timely assessment of referrals and participation in ward governance meetings
  • Prepare and supervise reports for Mental Health Act Review Tribunals and Managers Hearings
  • Participate in a non-resident second on-call rota

Management and Governance:

  • Collaborate with Ward Manager to ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements
  • Attend ward governance meetings and work with organisational quality improvement initiatives

Academic and Research:

  • Attend monthly Academic meetings and participate in audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives

Post Requirements:

  • MBBS or Equivalent Medical Degree and MRCPsych with s12/AC approval
  • Full GMC registration with license to practice
  • Knowledgeable of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, along with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Practice
  • Committed to continued professional development
  • Desirable to have had significant experience of inpatient mental health acute units

**Salary:** £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
