Child and Family Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Social Worker to join our team at the NHS. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to vulnerable children and young adults. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:- Case Management: Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the needs of children and young adults.
- Safeguarding: Identify and manage risks to ensure the safety and well-being of service users. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders to promote collaborative working practices.
- Training and Development: Participate in regular training and development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills in areas such as child protection, mental health, and trauma-informed practice.
- Professional Social Work qualification (social work degree or DipSW) is essential.
- Registered social worker with two years post-qualification is essential.
- Relevant CPD or qualifications to evidence a sound working knowledge of statutory safeguarding procedures for children and adults.
