Nursing Opportunities in Community Care

We have full-time vacancies for Community Staff Nurses to join our teams in Cheadle and Hanley, working with patients in their own homes. This role requires a commitment to providing high standards of holistic care, including palliative & end of life care, long term condition management, medication administration, complex wound care, and bladder & bowel management.

As a member of our community nursing team, you will receive support into the role through induction, training, and beyond. There will be opportunities for personal development and career progression if desired.

Job Description/Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team and colleagues to promote independence and support patient-centered care planning. You will provide care directly to patients on the caseload with a range of nursing needs.

Qualifications and Training

The successful candidate must hold a Degree in nursing or equivalent, qualifying September 2024, including NMC registration. A practice supervisor training or a commitment to work towards is also essential.

Benefits

You will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus membership of the excellent NHS pension scheme, generous maternity, paternity, adoption leave, pay, and the option for flexible working. Up to 27 days annual leave (increasing to 33 days) and the opportunity to purchase additional annual leave are also included.
