Patient Transport Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Transport Liaison Officer to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of patients across our network.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital wards, outpatient units, and bed managers to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Provide on-site support to our Patient Flow Manager, working together to identify and mitigate potential bottlenecks in patient transportation.
- Collaborate with our operations team to forecast and plan for patient transportation needs, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Act as a liaison between our team and hospital staff, resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during patient transportation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient transportation services.
- Proven experience in a healthcare or patient transportation setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with hospital staff and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and patient care.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of patient transportation policies and procedures, with a strong understanding of the importance of patient confidentiality and data protection.
