We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Transport Liaison Officer to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of patients across our network.
About the Role:The Patient Transport Liaison Officer will be responsible for:
- Coordinating patient transportation services with hospital wards, outpatient units, and discharge lounges
- Providing support to operational managers with issues that arise throughout the day
- Dealing with patient enquiries and questions as and when they arise
- Maintaining positive relationships with hospital staff and other stakeholders
- Attending meetings on an ad-hoc basis to discuss patient flow and transportation issues
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Experience of working in a healthcare or hospital setting
- A thorough working knowledge of Non-Emergency Patient Transport services
- The ability to plan and prioritise your own workload
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders
