About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a High Voltage Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance and switching of high voltage equipment, as well as producing HV/LV switching plans to ensure seamless system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage maintenance and switching of high voltage equipment
  • Produce HV/LV switching plans
  • Own, operate and maintain HV and LV main distribution including protection, PFC and SPDs
  • Carry out on-job training of shift and other personnel
  • Produce weekly energy reports and analysis of data
Requirements:
  • Understanding of various items of plant operation including VFDs, motors, boilers, chillers, HVAC, pumps, and vacuum systems
  • Ability to read, produce and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Experience and understanding of working with pneumatic systems
  • Appreciation of energy management and an eagerness to improve energy and environmental performance
