Grid Electrical Engineer Vacancy

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Grid Electrical Engineer to join our team in delivering large-scale green energy solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing grid connection and HV workstreams, ensuring timely and safe project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage electrical and control system interfaces between National Grid, the balance of plant contractor, and the supply contract.
  • Drive grid compliance to meet operational milestones and ensure project success.
  • Supervise installation works, system testing, and commissioning.
  • Support the development of future projects and assist with technical due diligence.

Requirements:

  • Degree in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with HV, ideally 132kV and 275kV.
  • Experience in contractor management.
  • Renewable energy experience is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience (£65,000 - £85,000 per annum).
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • 6% pension contribution.
  • Bonus up to 20%.
  • Health insurance.
  • Death in service at three times salary.
