Community Centre Liaison Officer Job Summary

We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Community Centre Liaison Officer. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our community centre.

Your duties will include preparing furniture for events, greeting members of the public, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling face-to-face inquiries. You will also be responsible for taking bookings, assisting with general office administration, processing payments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare furniture for events and activities
  2. Greet members of the public and provide assistance as needed
  3. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle face-to-face inquiries
  4. Take party bookings and other general bookings
  5. Assist with general office administration
  6. Process payments and record transactions
  7. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise
  8. Store equipment safely and securely
  9. Cash up, perform building checks, alarm the building, and lock up at the end of each shift
Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software

Annual Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
