Gearbox Assembly Technician

About the Role:

Gearbox assembly is a complex task that requires precision and attention to detail. As a gearbox assembly technician, you will be responsible for the sub-assembly of gearbox components, servicing gearboxes between races, and providing feedback to the engineering team during the build of new assemblies for the next generation of Formula One cars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sub-assembly of gearbox components
  • Servicing gearboxes between races
  • Providing feedback to the engineering team
  • Updating the MRP system for all developments during the build process
  • Providing trackside support for testing events across the season

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you'll need experience at top-level motorsport within gearbox or powertrain assembly, the ability to understand complex engineering drawings and assembly manuals, and a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
