Job Description:

Role Summary:

nGenium is seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating production runs, ensuring quality control, and maintaining stock levels of assembled products and component parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate production runs, including product testing and quality control
  • Maintain stock levels of assembled products and component parts
  • Record-keeping of supplied systems
  • Provide customer support and product repairs
  • Prepare work for Production Assistants and ensure they are working efficiently
  • Aid in Research & Development work as required
  • Respond to requests from the development team
  • Assemble electronic hardware through hand-soldering and the use of heat gun & bed
  • Test hardware modules and final assembled products
  • Write or contribute to product/project documentation
  • Perform basic electrical work on products, mainly wiring-related
  • Assess and understand customer needs to contribute towards product design
  • Possible occasional demonstration of products and concepts to customers
  • Maintain an organized workspace

Requirements:

  • Able to use laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators
  • Able to solder to a high standard, including small pitch SMT components
  • Thorough production builds, good practice as a finisher-completer
  • Effective communication
  • Organized

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with RF
  • Experience with low power circuits
  • Basic electrical wiring knowledge
  • Ability to use a spectrum analyzer
