Shoe Production Specialist

As a Shoe Production Specialist, you will be responsible for manually fitting and stitching together prepared workloads to form the basis of a leather shoe upper. This will involve working as part of a team and as an individual to meet production objectives in terms of quality and quantity.
Key Duties:
Competent in all aspects of stitching a shoe upper using a sewing machine, including under edging, sides, and caps.
Willing to learn all aspects of fitting a shoe upper.
Prioritize work to meet production needs and support changes to daily workloads when required.
Liaise with the team leader to address specific quality or production problems and ensure departmental machinery and equipment is in good working order.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the shoe industry (or similar) in a stitching/machinist role is essential.
Fully competent in using a sewing machine.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to train others once fully trained.
Self-motivated and high standards of workmanship within own work.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills and a responsible and conscientious attitude.
