About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operative Floor Specialist to join our team at Hermès. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production of men's shoes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily and weekly targets, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • Be trained on various machines and production processes throughout the production area, including cross-departmental training when necessary.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet production needs, adapting to exceptional events such as machine breakdowns or material shortages.
  • Liaise with the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to address quality or production issues.
  • Ensure departmental machinery and equipment are in good working order, reporting any issues to the Team Leader and/or Supervisor.
  • Train others once fully trained.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the shoe industry or a similar field is an advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a small team.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.
  • A responsible and conscientious attitude.
  • Calmness under pressure.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Accuracy in recording data.
  • The ability to respect confidential company or personal information.
