Floor Operative

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shoe Production Operative to join our team at John Lobb, a subsidiary of the Hermès group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily and weekly targets, ensuring high-quality production.
- Be trained on machines and production processes throughout the production area, including cross-departmental training.
- Prioritize work to meet production needs and adapt to exceptional events such as machine breakdowns or lack of materials.
- Liaise with the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to address quality or production issues.
- Maintain departmental machinery and equipment in good working order and report any problems.
- Train others once fully trained.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the shoe industry or similar is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Good communication skills and a responsible attitude.
- Calmness under pressure and decision-making skills.
- Accuracy in recording data and respect for confidential company information.

For over 150 years, John Lobb has maintained its founder's expertise in designing and manufacturing men's shoes. Our Parisian workshop produces custom-made shoes by hand, while our Northampton factory in England produces ready-to-wear collections.
We have a distribution network of directly operated shops in eight countries and a selective network of authorized dealers. As a subsidiary of the Hermès group, we have over 200 employees worldwide.
